These crazy kids—both friends from college, we were all witnesses to their first dates—are getting married on Saturday. These are a few pics from our saturday afternoon informal preparatory pre-wedding shoot. The idea was to simply get them comfortable with the camera before the big day, and vice-versa as I don’t do romance and wedding pictures on a regular basis.

Looking back through the pile of shots, my best tip is to anyone wanting to explore the fabulous subject of “loving couple”: no direct explicit kiss shots. Anticipate the tension, play with it, suggest it and frame it all. But picturing the kiss is giving the show away.
