Wo hui lai le

5 March 2009

  • Back. In. Montreal. Back. In. My. Bed. Back. In. My. Clothes. Yay. Yay. Yay.
  • Hellish overlay in Newark. Blame the runway congestion, we were stuck there 7h. Incidentally, the 13h flight from Beijing was far less painful and unpleasant (blame it on a on flight library of 400 films to choose from).
  • To counter balance all the chinese food I’ve been ingurgitating for the past two months first thing I had was a bowl of cereal. Then coffee. Then some scrambled eggs. Puis il vit que tout était bon.
  • Looks like sleeping is not back on normal schedule yet: j’ai pas fermé l’oeil de la nuit. Or maybe that coffee wasn’t such a good idea after all.
  • Mais, “Wo hui lai le” = J’suis de retour!

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that we were greeted at the Newark terminal by what looked like the whole cast of humans of the Wall-E movie. We left China and it’s back to the land of abnormally large figures, silhouettes you can draw with a caliper.
