A photographic report of a photographer’s recent tour to Antartica. Et ils ont trainé pas mal de stock, dont des caméra/scan à 400 mégapixels. Infodesign Challenge: Come up with a better infograph to fit a year comfortably within a business card. My favorite is the #6 concept, where the month aligns where it starts, keeping the reading clear and easy. Each stations works out light tactile exercises in order to prevent senility. Start in the playground, finish in the playground. Could they just go see the chinese and learn tai-chi? •

He explains it all starting way back from the Napster days to the very recent fall of Oink. “The beauty of Oink was how fans willingly and hyper-efficiently took on distribution roles that traditionally have cost labels millions of dollars. Music lovers have shown that they’re much more willing to put time and effort into music than they are money. It’s time to show artists that there’s no limit to what an energized online fanbase can accomplish, and all they’ll ever ask for in return is more music. And it’s time to show the labels that they missed a huge opportunity by not embracing these opportunities when they had the chance.” •

Behind the scenes in an adidas soccer ball factory. They each have a Carcass No.! Carcass (i love that word)! C’est un travail purement manuel, très peu de machines automatisent la production. L’enveloppe extérieur (qui n’est aucunement structurelle) est d’abord coupée à la main à l’emporte pièce, puis peinte, sérigraphiée pour être ensuite collée et assemblée sur la CARCASSE intérieure. •
